For this round of China Connections we will be using this excellent site from the New York Times. They have created a special set of articles and multimedia support items on the environmental situation in China.
Click on this link and then follow the instructions which follow.
Go to the "In This Series" drop down menu on the right hand side of the screen and based on the title choose an installment to look at and load up the front page.
On the main graphic click the "Go To Article" button.
Click on the "Single Page" button on the top right hand side of the article text.
Scan the article and make sure it is of interest to you.
Print and actively read the article.
Access the multimedia options that are linked to the article by looking down the left hand side of the article text and clicking on the offerings (e.g. Video, Audio Slideshow, Interactive Graphics, Expert Roundtable...)
Use this special modified version of "China Connections - Pollution" as your worksheet and complete the sections after discussion about the article at school.
